Case Community Park River Run 5K

What is the Case Community Park 5K?

The Case Community Park River Run 5K is a 5K footrace on a USATF Certified Course through the newly renovated Case Community Park (previously known as River City Park) in Sand Springs. It will be held at 8am on Saturday, April 15^th, 2017, and features a relatively flat, paved 5K run through the park and a 1mile fun run. The 5K will be professionally timed and results will be posted promptly. Awards will be given to the top three Overall and within each Age Group.

This 5K is a major fundraiser for Sandite Senior Celebration, a lock-in hosted by parents and volunteers each year on the night of graduation.  This year’s event will be Sat May 13^th at the Case Community Center in Sand Springs, OK.  Our senior celebration benefits the graduates of Charles Page High School by providing them a fun and safe place to celebrate their achievement. 100% of the profits from this event will go toward funding Senior Celebration.

We are promoting this event locally in the Sand Springs community, schools and clubs as well as in Tulsa though the Tulsa running clubs and stores. Our goal is to have 200 participants or more this first year and we hope to grow the event bigger and better each year!

Who can participate?

Anyone can participate! Competitive, recreational and social runners and walkers are welcome to participate in either the 5K or the Fun Run!

All participants will receive:

• Professionally timed and posted results (for 5K)
• T shirt
• Awards to top three overall and Age Group
• A safe and fun USATF Certified coarse
• Water stop halfway through the coarse
• Refreshments at the finish line

How can my business support the event?

Event sponsorship options are created to give your business exposure in all materials we are using to promote the event to the running community as well as locally here in Sand Springs. Your company name/logo will also receive exposure on race day as well as forever on the participant Tshirts.
