Sandite Senior Celebration is lock-in hosted by parents and volunteers each year the night of graduation. This year’s even will by May 14th, 2016 at the Case Community Center in Sand Springs, OK. Our senior celebration benefits the graduates of Charles Page High School.
We collect donations throughout the year from seniors, parents, family, friends and businesses within our community. Our goal is to raise $40,000 and although that sounds like a lot, this allows us to pay for the entertainment, food and prizes. Our goal is that no senior leaves empty handed. Each senior leaves with a goody bag with gift cards and things they will actually want and/or use as they go on to college or start their lives after school. In addition to this, we purchase larger prizes like small refrigerators, computers, laptops, and items they will want to win.
During the year, when a senior or parent of a senior volunteers or participates in an event that benefits Sandite Senior Celebration, they are added to the list that includes the number of “tickets” they will receive at the lock-in. The senior then takes those tickets they have earned throughout the year and puts them in the box that will be drawn from for the item they want to win. They can put all of their tickets in one box or spread them all to several.
We are always looking for ways to make money and generate donations to help our cause. If you or someone you know would like to donate or help out, please let us know!! We can be reached at SanditeSeniorCelebration@gmail.com. You can also join our closed group on Facebook, by connecting with us. This website is designed to offer information and be a resource for all things Sandite Senior Celebration.
